TWIST TIES
Somebody asked me if I had a picture of my new place. Yes! I do! It's on the older links page under "house picture". Duurrrr. Hopefully it still works. It did the other day.
SO. I'm all involved in moving and stuff, although it's not so much that we're moving stuff out right now, it's that we're moving stuff IN to the new place. Charity is going there all the time to work on stuff.
So yesterday she says to me she says "I have made up this list of items we need that I would like for you to purchase at the grocery store". And I'm like "you talk funny, use a contraction or something".
But I went to the store and got things from the list, like some buckets and some mops and all such whatnots. And last on the list was garbage bags and twist ties. So I go to the garbage bag aisle and I get a bag of big, sturdy bags. With the drawstring handles! Gotta love the drawstring.
Then I looked for a box of twist ties. But I didn't see one! I looked high and low. No twist ties!
So I call a guy over who works there. "Where are the twist ties?" I ask him. "Hmm," he replies. "I think some come with the garbage bags." "Yes," I say, "but I'm told that we need more than what comes in the box of bags, on account of all the bags we'll be using."
This perplexes him and he calls over someone else. They don't know either! So they call over the phone: where are the twist ties? Finally, someone responds: they don't sell twist ties!
Well, I never. Ain't that about a B.
