WHAT THE BUTT PART 3
Just to update the situation, I've still heard absolutely nothing from that stupid business that my butt of a relative works for. They were supposed to get back to me about their decision, which they haven't. I called about it and got no return call. Then I e-mailed said relative and heard nothing. Maybe there's some reason she's ignoring me. Maybe she's dead.
I'm still doing the work for them though, because that way they'll have to pay me. At the end of the week I'll send 'em a new bill for February for a fat $100, which hopefully will catch them completely by surprise. And hopefully they really don't have any money and my fee will bankrupt them.
Speaking of doing odd jobs, I drove home over the weekend and did some stuff for this woman my mom works with. Her name is Victoria and she's a spicy, fiery Latina. I used to have a big crush on her.
I didn't even know if I was gonna get paid in this case, but my mom said Victoria would pay. I didn't know how much, though. Then before I left Charity says "maybe she'll pay you in sweet lovin'", which although she was mocking me, I think it technically counted as her giving me permission. I felt like Larry David.But Victoria ended up giving me money. $20 and some cake to boot. Some more work like this and I can retire a young man.
