WHAT THE BUTT PART TWO
Just to sum up, we will go over some of the finer points again.
#1 - I agreed to do some work for $100 a month for a business that a relative of mine works at.
#2 - Said relative, for no reason whatsoever except to stick it to me, pointed out that some other guy at some other business only gets $50 for some other work.
#3 - After this conversation I suspected that they would now attempt to pay me only $50, despite our agreement on $100, because they are shifty and devious.
#4 - They told me last week that, due to business suddenly being bad, they may not pay me anything. I'm told to wait for them to make a decision on what they're going to do. The fact that they owe me $100 is mentioned repeatedly. The notion of only paying me $50 is not brought up by anyone.
#5 - I hear nothing about any decision, yet I am contacted about doing more work. Work that I may never be paid for, depending on what they decide.
#6 - I leave a message wondering what is going on.
WELL. I have still not been informed about any decisions that have been made, nor have they contacted me in response to my message.
But what came in the mail for me today? A nice crisp check. For $50.
WHAT IS GOING ON I quit.
