WHAT THE BUTT
So when we last left off with my tale of work and money and denial of payment, the boss of this company told me she didn't think she could afford to pay me for my monthly services. But, after making decisions about her financial affairs, she said she would get back to me.
Well, it's now a few days later, and I have not been gotten back to. HOWEVER... today I got a message from their secretary about doing more work for them for February.
So many questions spring to mind. Did they decide to go ahead and keep paying me, and somehow neglected to mention this? Is the secretary completely cut off from these decisions, and didn't know that my continued service is now clouded in mystery? And, more importantly, what the hell is wrong with these people?
In an effort to get to the bottom of these pressing issues, I called their offices this afternoon. But the boss was with a client and my relative was out of the office.
So I left a message that contained a somewhat rhetorical question as to why I'd continue doing work for them when I have not been paid and was told that I may not ever be paid. They have yet to reply.
I will surely keep you abreast of these continuing developments.
